Dance Director Renee Post has an enormous passion and love for this creative art form and with her extensive training, knowledge and experience she has formed learning centres to teach a variety of what “the arts” has to offer. Renee’s aim and vision is to provide a fun environment focusing on correct technique training for a future career in the arts or just for enjoyment.
Having begun her own dance lessons from the tender age of 2 years, by 5 years old she was able to claim to be the youngest competitor on televisions Young Talent Time. In 1995 Renee was the Overall SA Dance Champion and had roles in a multitude of TV commercials and leading roles in musicals. Her professional career lead her to working for organizations such as Disney, Warner Bros., International Grand Prix Assoc., and many more.
As a young adult Renee expanded her passion for Dance and her studies included international instruction from world renown choreographers in New York, Los Angeles and London. This lead to forming a career in teaching and studio directorship by obtaining formally recognized certifications:
- Two teaching diplomas with the Commonwealth Society of Teachers for Dancing in Theatrical and Tap
- Associate Diploma with the Australian Institute of Classical Dance.
- Pilates Practitioners Certificate with the Australian Pilates Method Association.
- Dance Teacher and Management Cert. 4.
Renee generously shares the knowledge she has gained from her vast experience and is a positive role model and mentor to her staff and students.
