Renee Post — Dance Director

Celebrating 30 years of Dancing Strong, Renee Post is a well respected Dance Director and Educator known for her passion, precision and professionalism with unwavering commitment to the arts. As a dedicated female entrepreneur, she has built and sustained multiple successful studios throughout Australia, through resilience, innovation and a clear vision for excellence in dance education.

Renee began her dance training at just two years of age, and by five had already made history as the youngest competitor to appear on television’s Young Talent Time. Her early achievements reflected a maturity and talent well beyond her years, culminating in being awarded the Overall SA Dance Champion. She went on to enjoy a successful professional performance career, collaborating with internationally recognised organisations including Disney and Warner Bros.

Supported by extensive training both across Australia and overseas, Renee developed a strong artistic and technical foundation. This depth of experience naturally led her into studio ownership and directorship, where she continues to lead with expertise, vision and a lifelong commitment to excellence in dance education.

Holding multiple teaching diplomas, an Associate Diploma in Classical Dance, Pilates certification and a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching & Management, Renee combines strong technical expertise with a nurturing approach. She is widely recognised for fostering supportive environments where students and staff can thrive.

Over the past 30 years, Renee has mentored and trained numerous dancers who have gone on to pursue successful professional careers both in Australia and internationally. Her graduates have performed across a diverse range of platforms including major stage productions, cruise lines and television, working alongside renowned singers, actors and industry professionals.

Many of Renee’s dancers have also been selected to perform at Disneyland on multiple international tours, with Renee personally escorting teams to the United States to take part in large-scale production performances in Los Angeles, Disneyland and aboard Royal Caribbean cruise liners.

For more than 25 years, her students have consistently represented the studio at local, regional and interstate competitions, achieving outstanding results in high-level events and earning numerous national championship titles. Renee’s commitment to excellence and performance opportunities has played a significant role in shaping confident, accomplished and industry-ready performers.

Renee’s longevity in business is a testament to her dedication, adaptability and passion for empowering the next generation through dance. Committed to continuous growth, Renee consistently stays abreast of emerging dance trends while investing in ongoing learning through respected business coaches and mentors. Her progressive mindset positions her as a leader in her field and a visionary across both studio management and choreography.
